NavPoint 2D Streamer

NCS SubSea is pleased to offer our NavPoint navigation system for conventional long offset 2D Seismic Streamer Acqusitions. This system is an integration of the Eiva NaviPac marine navigation software and the NCS SubSea proprietary header generation program – Retriever.  The NavPoint system has been used on numerous crews, worldwide, with a variety of source and recording system combinations. Combined with our custom, proprietary software packages, the system will output industry standard P2/94 and P2/11 raw navigation files along with detailed end-of-sequence reports.

NavPoint Longliner

NCS SubSea is pleased to offer our NavPoint Longliner navigation system for UHR2D marine seismic streamer acquisition. This system was designed and developed in house to fulfill the need of a versatile 2D navigation system capable of interfacing with any source and acquisition combination. It is fully configurable and designed for smaller vessels with high-resolution eventing (3.125m shotpoint spacing) requirements. The system will output industry standard P2/94 and P2/11 raw navigation files along with detailed end-of-sequence reports.

NavPoint Trawler

NCS SubSea has partnered with Geometrics, manufacturers of the P-Cable system, to fully commercialize the technology for us in the offshore-energy market. NCS SubSea has developed the only real-time, network-adjusted Integrated Navigation System (INS) for the P-Cable technology. The NCS SubSea NavPoint Trawler system allows for highly-accurate, least-squares-adjusted positioning of the entire P-Cable array including the cross-cable, energy source, streamers and other in-water equipment. The INS also provides real-time survey, QC and coverage (binning) displays, as well as post-line processing capabilities. The NCS SubSea INS is the only proven product on the market that can position the P-Cable spread in real time, both accurately and consistently. The system will output industry standard P2/94 (or P2/11) and P1/90 (or P1/11) raw navigation files along with detailed end-of-sequence reports.

Conventional 3D Streamer Navigation

NCS SubSea also offers "off-the-shelf" solutions from third-party vendors for conventional 3D marine seismic streamer acquisition. We have provided, supported, operated, and installed third-party systems on client vessels to meet the demand of the surveys and clients.
